Beginner Line Dance

Class Description

This progressive 6-week series is on Tuesdays evenings (NO class March 24) from 6:30-7:30 pm. This is a modern line dancing class, so we will dance to a variety of genres of music including latin, pop and country. If you know all the basic line dance steps, have a good sense of rhythm and timing, are almost always on the correct foot, then you are ready for this level. This 1 hour class will introduce more challenging steps and patterns, as well as syncopation, tags and restarts. Classes are held in the Seniors on the Bow auditorium in the SLS Centre. This is a private rental so you do not need a membership with SOTB or the SLS Centre to attend. Classes are for all ages but children under 18 must be mature and accompanied by a guardian who is also registered for the class.
