Line Dance Socials

Four or five times per year, Cathy Chalmers Line Dancing hosts a line dance social for students of CCLD and invited guests. This is a fantastic night of dancing to our expanding repertoire of line dances with our growing line dance community!  Dancers at all levels are welcome to come. Our line dance community is supportive and welcoming...honestly the nicest people in Alberta.  

For each social there will be a set playlist which will be available 3 weeks before the social. The playlist provides the names and order of the dances, as well as the song we will use for each. Dancers are encouraged to print the playlist, highlight the dances you know, and practice! This is not a time to learn new dances (that is, there are no teaches), it is a chance to enjoy dancing the dances you have worked so hard to learn! Having said that, there will be quick reviews of most dances because sometimes we just need 1 wall in order to remember the dance!

Line dancers from other venues, towns or even from other countries are invited to attend these socials! Tickets include a great night of dancing to a set playlist with a DJ, cash bar, delicious snacks, free parking, and great comradery.  Have I mentioned that Cochrane line dancers are the nicest people in Alberta?

PLEASE NOTE: These are private events for experienced line dancers. No tickets will be sold at the door.
